Community Insurance Center Ltd (CIC) was established in 1978 and had its beginning in a vacant gas station located at 90 S. Washington St in Oxford, with the merger of two successful Oakland County insurance agencies – Allen Insurance Agency founded in 1952 and Hall Insurance Agency formed in 1955. Late in 1978, the new business entity of Community Insurance Center Ltd was formed.

In 1986, the Tripp Insurance Agency in Metamora was acquired. Although business operations are managed through the main office located in Oxford, the Metamora branch, now known as Community Insurance Center II, adds convenience to those clients north of Oakland County.

Today, Community Insurance Center is one of the larger insurance agencies in Northern Oakland County. CIC is constantly seeking new ways to efficiently and effectively provide service to our existing as well as future clients. The computer systems, the latest management systems, and continuing professional education of all employees are just a few ways CIC is keeping pace with the ever-changing insurance industry and allows efficient and accurate service of their customers.

Community Insurance Center, combined both our Oxford and Metamora locations in 2020 at the Oxford location. We are a full service agency handling commercial, life, health, and personal lines of business.
