Ron had been in the insurance industry for more than 46 years. After gaining nine years of experience with a major Michigan insurance company, he purchased Action Insurance Service in 1981. From that point forward, he remained active in all areas of management within what became the Action Advantage Group. As a CIC graduate, he was deeply involved in developing the programs and services offered to clients.
Ron was also highly committed to community leadership. He served as president of the Romeo–Washington Chamber of Commerce, the Macomb County Agents Association, the Romeo DDA, and the Romeo Lions Club. Additionally, he served as president of the Michigan Peach Festival Association, and he and his family proudly chaired the festival’s floral parade for 22 years.
